Whereas the industrial carbon tax raises costs on everything Canadians grow, build, and produce, driving up prices for families at a time when life is already too expensive;
Whereas this hidden tax punishes Canadian industry, reduces competitiveness, and pushes good jobs out of our communities;
Whereas higher energy and production costs make it harder for businesses to invest, expand, and keep workers employed here at home;
Therefore, we the undersigned call on the federal government to axe the industrial carbon tax, lower costs for families, and protect the ability of Canadian businesses to compete and grow.
